  • Overall: Rating of 4.1 out of 5

"I had the opportunity to travel through a series of hostels and small hotels in Europe during one month vacation, and sincerely, Du Lion is one of the hotels which I strongly recommend to my friends, and where, for sure I will return in my next trip to Paris." source Venere

"Service was great and the hotel was right outside the METRO which was very handy if you caaught the train. I would recommend this hotel to anybody." source Venere

"I would recommend this hotel -- it's a 2 star hotel, but clean, convenient and reasonable for being so close to the city centre." source Venere

"A no frills experience but I would recommend this hotel and would stay again." source Venere

"Great hotel in a good location, really close to the Metro and RER." source Venere

  • Clean: Rating of 4.1 out of 5

"Couple, very convenient location, quite a few restuarants and bakeries near by, RER and tube stations just downstairs, rooms are very clean and neat." source Venere

"There is a whole floor for non-smokers, clean rooms, although not very spacious, with additional facilities such as hairdryer & trouser press." source Venere

"Be ready to drag your baggage up from the street to the reception (elevator after that), and the rooms are simple, plain and reasonably clean." source Venere

"The hotel doesn't look fabulous, but the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, modern tvs and our room even had a balcony." source Venere

"Good location, friendly, helpful staff and clean, modern, reasonably comfortable rooms although a little small." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"Very helpful staff, allowed us to leave our bags for a couple of hours after checking out." source Venere

"Internet was not availbale on the floor I was on and the service was quite expensive." source Venere

"Do not expect for great services or too spacious rooms." source Venere

"Friendly and helpful staff." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 4.2 out of 5

"The location was excellent and convenient for the metro station which was located just across the road from the hotel, which enabled you to access any part of this beautiful city with ease." source Venere

"Hotel is well located in desirable area & close to public transport with Metro entrance right outside door. Many cafes in area with one by hotel entrance." source Venere

"Perfect location, no-fuss hotel, saved my Week-End due to RER proximity and possibility to take a room for shower right when I arrive in the morning after 13hour flight." source Venere

"The location is great, however, reception is not at ground level and one must tote all luggage up to the 1st floor with no assistance." source Venere

"Hotel very well located with a Metro station, restaurants, bars, cafes right outside of the Hotel, which makes the surroundings noisy." source Venere

  • Value

"If you don't mind to walk, location of hotel is great for the price you pay, although Metro is right outside the door." source Venere

"I got what I expected for the price, the rooms are ok, the personnel very friendly and helpful." source Venere

"Paris is expensive and so we believe we got value for money spent although the room was small." source Venere

"Very good value, quiet location, easy access to Metro and RER." source Venere

"It's in a great location and is a decent hotel for the price." source Venere

  • Room: Rating of 3.1 out of 5

"Rooms are big enough to live in, but not an inch more. We had a room on the main street, that made difficoult to sleep the first 2 nights, after that we were too tired to worry about traffic." source Venere
