A fabulous 360 degree vista over the Prenestini Mountains, and one of the most beautiful views of the Eternal City, and all only 35 kms south east of Rome.Takeko is from Tokyo, an ex opera singer, she is passionate about music, good food, and Italy. Tony is from Milan, with long experience as a tour guide. He too is passionate about music, good food, the whole of Italy, and Takeko, his wife.In June 2007 they decided to realize their long held dream of running a B and B. Having bought an amazing villa, they opened the CLUB KOTOBUKI (fear not, this is NOT a night club) at Castel San Pietro Romano, a jewel of a mediaeval village, perched on the acropolis of the most ancient classical temple, the Temple of Dea Fortuna at Palestrina, city of music.For Tony and Takeko it will be a constant pleasure to introduce their guests to the secrets of this little known part of Italy, so rich in art and history, and also full of genuine life which still remains almost untouched by tourism. Here you will find everything from saints to sausages, from cultural events to traditional local festivals, from works of art to rare birds and wolves. This is our idea of what tourism should be, and it is why we chose this area, so close to Rome but set in beautiful countryside rich in places of varied interest.

Cancellation Policy

-120 hours, Prepayment 30% for any reservation exceeding 5 nights in case of variations and/or cancellations made outside the above-stated time limit we require a 30% of the reservation total amount as penalty. Payment must be done at the moment of check in by cash. Important! In case of long reservations (more than 7 days) a 30% payment in advance through bank transfer could be required in order to keep reservation. Please contact the property.

Directions

By CarTake highway A1 from Rome to Naples and get out at San Cesareo. After the toll gate turn on your left, towards San Cesareo. From San Cesareo take direction to Palestrina and when you are there drive other 3,5 kms up to the mountain direction Castel San Pietro. the Club-Kotobuki is near the soccer field at 1 km outside the village.By Plane:We suggest to require our pick up services at the airports when you make reservation.By Train:from Termini station in Rome take any train with Frosinone/Cassino direction and stop at Zagarolo station. From there we provide a free shuttle bus to our B&B.
