The charming Centrale Hotel in Rome is the right choice for discovering this outstanding city on foot and for strolling through the narrow streets which are rich in art, history and tradition. The hotel is new, and opened in November 2007.Located in the historic district of Rome, between the legendary Piazza del Popolo square and the Spanish Steps, the Centrale Hotel welcomes guests in an ancient building of the Italian capital.

Directions

From Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Distance to Hotel Centrale is 45 kilometres, approximately 32 minutes' drive. Getting there. The Leonardo Express train leaves Fiumicino airport every 30 minutes for Rome's central Termini train station. A single ticket costs 9.50 EUR and the journey takes 35 minutes. The Terravision shuttle bus also runs to Termini station. From Termini station, take Underground A towards Battistini and get off at Flaminio, which is a short walk from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to Hotel Centrale should cost around 45 EUR; it is recommended travellers take a licensed metered taxi only. All prices are subject to change. Getting around. Rome city centre is easily explored on foot. The integrated public transport network consists of buses, trams, metro (underground), and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. A single ticket costs 1 EUR, is valid for 75 minutes, and covers unlimited bus journeys and one metro trip. Driving is not recommended for visitors. Price is subject to change.
