Casa de Tepa is a charming small 4 star hotel in Astorga, a city in the province of Leon, in Spain. This charming family run hotel was originally built during the 18th century, and before becoming the personal residence of the Tepa earls, it used to be a convent, and later on, the most important hospital for pilgrims, since Casa de Tepa is on the way of the famous pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. Casa de Tepa is surrounded by the city walls, and the property has recently been refurbished and converted into a luxurious and unique hotel, keeping its original refined aristocratic style in its architecture and decoration. This classy hotel features a charming garden and terrace, a library with a small café, several comfortable lounges - some of them with chimneys, and meeting and banqueting halls. There is also wireless Internet access throughout the property.
