This beautiful old hamlet, dating back to the 14th century, stands in Sovicille amid the hills of the Siena countryside, one of the most enchanting areas in Tuscany and culturally one of Italy's richest, a few kilometres from Sienna and San Gimignano. The Residence Borgo Il Poggiaccio fetaures comfortable apartments, a big swimming pool, an ample solarium terrace, a tennis and basket court, table tennis and mountain bikes. The beautiful restaurant, with wine bar and piano bar, which is situated in a medieval cellar, offers a magical atmosphere and Tuscan cuisine specialties. We organize weekly musical soirées and a guided wine tasting. During the summertime the dinner is served on the large terrace near by the swimming pool with romantic live guitar or piano music. The well tended garden features pergolas, tables, chairs and benches. You can also avail of therapeutic massages, cooking and languages lessons, various art and craft courses as well as the conferences and all kinds of ceremonies organization.
