From Athens Airport (ATH): Distance to the Best Western Caterina is 28 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. The suburban rail line connects the airport to Athens' central station, Larissis Station. Single tickets cost 8 EUR. Additionally, Metro line 3 runs between the city centre and the airport. Change at Syntagma Metro station for Monastiraki station. At Monastiraki, switch to the electric train and continue to Kifissia. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals, Door 4, and cost about 30 EUR to the Best Western Caterina. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Public transport throughout Athens is inexpensive and convenient. Services include buses, trams, trolley buses, and a metro service. Tickets should be validated at the orange machines on board or in metro stations. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced. Visitors are advised not to drive in the city. Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs for Athens. Take the K2 Exit onto Highway 6. Take Exit 11 for the Olympic Stadium. Turn right into Kifissias Avenue. Turn right into Kassaveti Street. Turn left into Levidu Street. Turn right into Kolokotroni Street and continue to Mykonou Street. Turn left for the hotel.
