"We def recommend a sandwich shop/cafe called Panin's of something like that - they only sell sandwiches, pizzas and chip but all excellent (stone baked pizza) very cheap." source Venere

"Great hotel for people who want to tour the area and not spend too much on hotel facilities you hardly use." source Venere

"I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting the Juan les Pins or Antibes." source Venere

"I would not hesitate to recommend staying here." source Venere

"I recommended this place for a short period." source Venere

  • Clean: Rating of 4.3 out of 5

"we spent an amazing time in the hotel, which is very clean and warm ,a very pleasent owner very helpfull and speaks perfect english and always on top of things, will be returning there again for sure, we simply loved the people and our stay in juan le-pins." source Venere

"so, you have to clean you room on your own (if you want), but you can do yur shopping in the nearby supermarket and ssave lots of money eating "at home" rather than being ripped off by local restaurants." source Venere

"we were over for business in cannes and as all hotels are ridiculousky expensive we were happy to stay at hotel astor because it was clean, friendly and very affordable." source Venere

"The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and well air conditioned, but was on the lower ground floor and dark and a little dank." source Venere

"We are satisfied,a clean room, everything worked,a short walk from towncentre and railwaystation." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 4.1 out of 5

"This hotel offers great value and is well located close to the city and more imoportantly, close to the train which services the coast." source Venere

"Sparkling clean rooms and very friendly staff." source Venere

"the service was very nice, although they are not at the desk 24." source Venere

"Very nice room + good service." source Venere

"Excellent service, good room." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 3.7 out of 5

"On arrival, there was no one in the reception area (about 1400 hours), but when I rang the bell, someone answered and the key to our room was hidden nearby. The only public area was the outdoor terrace where breakfast was served, which was a little cool at the end of September." source Venere

"It was almost excellent with the quiet location of the hotel & for the price we've paid; the only thing we forgot to check is the hair dryer under room facilities & also for the shower curtain-too short which was not enough to stop the water from splashing out of the bath tub." source Venere

"The location is fine, though you have to walk through a colorless little stretch of road and cross a sketchy looking bridge to the Juan les Pins RR station area to get into the old town, but it's a very short walk, even to the beach or old Antibes." source Venere

"After my arriving at hotel Astor, the hotel staff gave me the city map of Antibes, Juan-les-Pins with some information downtown in English fluently." source Venere

"quiet & residential area within walking distance of the sea and train." source Venere

  • Value

"One draw back, price of the breakfast, slightly expensive at 7euros for bread, croissant, preserves, juice and coffee." source Venere

"also, as with many of the good hotels breakfast should be included in the price." source Venere

"The cost of the breakfast is not included in the room price." source Venere

"We had breakfast the first morning which was reasonably priced." source Venere

"Good value for money, very helpful proprietor." source Venere
