  • Overall: Rating of 3.9 out of 5

"Great hotel, easy to find with satnav, staff very helpful, room was massive with two bathrooms, lot was more like a suite than just a room, best to find hotel and unload luggage before parking as it's a way to walk with cases, will go back,,,,,." source Venere

"I have been here twice now and would definitely stay again and definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Monaco." source Venere

"Will look to stay there again next year." source Venere

"Will stay at this Hotel again in the future and will recommend it to friends travelling to monaco in the future." source Venere

  • Clean: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"The rooms are small, which is usual by French standards, but clean and had all facilities required." source Venere

"Room was clean and large enough for a one night stay." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"Our only disappointmnet was the restaurant manager, one night we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaraunt only to be told that as they had a group booking we would have to come back in two hours, we were even refused room service." source Venere

"the name) told us many things about MonteCarlo, and showed all this in the city map - excellent service." source Venere

"Couldn't have chosen a better hotel for location and for excellent service." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"The hotel's location is good for a person to visit the Palace or the tropical garden, but it is not very convenient for a person who likes to play in Casino at night." source Venere

"Great location, the only downside was the noise level coming from the street early morning (room was on 2nd floor)." source Venere

"We were at the tourist information booth downtown and people were getting rooms for about 2/3 rd's what we paid." source Venere

"For a cheap, quiet, place to stay in Monaco, located very close to the harbour and shops, this hotel is ideal." source Venere

"However the hotel is located near everything you want in Montecarlo." source Venere

  • Value

"The restaurant was informal and served excellent pizza and pasta dishes for a very reasonable price - again the staff here were very friendly and helpful." source Venere

"Value for money this Hotel in heart of Monaco is excellent." source Venere

"The rate price/quality is considerably too high for the place but, if you think you're in Montecarlo and quite nearby the centre, it is not so unfair." source Venere

"The hotel was brilliant and great value for money." source Venere

"Fantastic location for the price." source Venere

  • Room: Rating of 3.6 out of 5

"the Ambassadoer Monarco was ok, the staff were very friendly & most helpful, the room was ok, although we wouldn't want to stay for a long period there, a few days no more, breakfast was average, pleased we visited Monarco though it's definatly a place to see, even if only for a days." source Venere

"The picture(s) on the website of the hotel do not at all correspond with the actual room. My room and that of a colleague of mine were very small, the door of the bathroom could hardly be opened because the double bed was in the way." source Venere

"The staff was not very friendly and not as competent as I would have hoped - a woman working at the front desk had no idea why my room phone wasn't working and couldn't tell me where the nearest pay phone was (100 yards away." source Venere

"I was travelling with my three daughters and we were given a family room which was twice the size of a typical hotel room and we had two spacious baths, one with a jucuzi." source Venere

"5 minute walk from the water, 1 minute cabride to the casino, and the room was great. For the money, the room and location was excellent." source Venere

Traveler Photos of Camp de Mar

Beautiful setting of Valletta Marina While I was visiting home the crew were made welcome at paul's neice's villa in Havia in Spain. I met them last year during Dennis's delivery trip bteween Majorca and Gibraltar. Lovely family and fed us well Some encounters you have to make a point of stopping to say hello - not that the turtle was very interested - it seems that nothing interferes with siesta time at sea. So this is where the crew got their idea from. Mike loved every minute especially when he was steering with full sails up and a good wind blowing.
