The Aloha d'Oro hotel is open year-round. It was built in 1968, in front of the sea, with materials and techniques that are typical of the old farmhouses around Etna, in a typical Mediterranean style. Ownership and management are both characteristically local. The Aloha hotel faces the sea of Mt Etna and the magnificent Ulysses Riviera. The Regional Spa is within walking distance, as well as the beautiful city centre of the baroque city Acireale.

Directions
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA): Distance to Hotel Aloha D'Oro is 15 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 80 EUR to Acireale. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
