  • Clean: Rating of 4.3 out of 5

"the welcoming was very friendly, the room with harbour view was very tidy, clean, the bathroom was furnished in a very modern way (looked brand new to me) and the shower even had 6 massage jets and a waterfall type shower." source Venere

"The view on the vieux port, throught the narrow window, was pleasant and the room was clean but poorly decorated that made a sad atmosphere (especially the bathroom)." source Venere

"The rooms are very adequate in size and spotlessly clean, and the service, though basic, is friendly and efficient." source Venere

"The room itself was small, but clean and quiet." source Venere

"Clean, quiet room; friendly and helpful staff." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 4.1 out of 5

"Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff." source Venere

"It was the best service we had on our trip." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 4.5 out of 5

"If you're looking for a budget hotel that will give you excellent value (and great location) for money : you want to stay @ Hotel Alizé. Ideally located right outside Metro station at Vieux Port, you're at the BEST spot if you want to visit Marseille, go to the beaches (take bus 83 10' hop the bus and you are at Plage des prophètes) or explore the Frioul or Chateau d'if from the pier right accross the Hotel." source Venere

"This hotel has an excellent location. Its close to the more touristy area and the metro station, and far enough away from the "questionable neighbourhood" near the train station." source Venere

"You must haul your own bags up a flight of stairs before coming to the reception area, then up another half flight of stairs to the lift." source Venere

"The Alize offers great value for money accommodation and it's location with rooms looking over Vieux Port is excellent." source Venere

"Very good location (port, restaurants), was offered a port-view room for the same price as the normal one (low season)." source Venere

  • Value

"The breakfast was above average for the price and was served until 11am every day. The price with Venere." source Venere

"We got exactly what we expected for a relatively low price." source Venere

"Attention the price of panoramic room it's more." source Venere

"For the price the standard was very good." source Venere

  • Room: Rating of 3.1 out of 5

"Our room was newly remodeled and very clean. It was our smallest room on our entire European vacation but was definitely far from the worst." source Venere

"Changed a room next day, not much better, however. Seems that any info available on the site refers to the rooms facing the port." source Venere

"It's worth paying a bit more for the rooms with the view to the port." source Venere

"room and bathroom very clean and hot water." source Venere

"Clean and reasonable-sized room with bath." source Venere
