A destroyed gun placement.
The attempts to destroy the counter attack weapons were not completely successful. On D-Day, after already losing men to reach this destination, they found that the guns there were fake.  Frustrated, they were still able to recover the location of the real guns and destroy them. Juno Beach, now covered in seaweed... take a moment to put yourself in the past... imagine this as a battle field On Juno Beach: one of the first buildings liberated by the Canadians... often this house is depicted in movies when they show the beaches.  She did an admirable job around these twisty roads
