Getting there.Taxis are available outside the Arrivals areas. A taxi to the hotel costs approximately 23 25 EUR. There are frequent bus services between the airport and the capital, as well as other destinations on the island. Bus no. 60 runs to Las Palmas for Parque de San Catalina and Parque de San Telmo. Bus services depart from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C. There are plenty of cheap, metered taxis available on Gran Canaria. The island also has good bus services which operate around the resorts and to all the main towns; there is nowhere on the island that takes much longer than an hour to get to by bus. Hire cars are popular with visitors wanting to explore the island.
