Hotel Okura is situated south of the inner city of Amsterdam. The hotel invests extensive care and dedication in order to pave the way for a delightful stay. The bedrooms are large and are all well decorated in modern style with a predominantly gold colour scheme. Many have excellent views over Amsterdam city and all are in very good condition. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. All bedrooms benefit from fax machine, internet access & isdn plug and the renovated rooms have televisions in the bathrooms.Reservations

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Distance to Okura Hotel is 8 miles, approximately 15 minutes' drive. Getting there. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Okura Hotel is located on Ferdinand Bolstraat in the south side of the city. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged. Driving directions. From the Ring Amsterdam (A10): Take the RAI (S109) exit and cross the traffic lights towards RAI/Centrum. Following signs for Zuid (S109), carry straight on, passing the RAI congress centre on the left, and take the right hand lane into Scheldestraat. Go straight at the traffic lights and the Hotel Okura is on the right, 500 metres further on.

Many delicacies accompany the range of refreshments and are prepared in the Ciel Bleu restaurant nearby.
