The beautiful building on Trumpington Street- which dates back in part to medieval times- has been transformed to enhance its many quirky architectural features- The hotel boasts 41 bedrooms and suites- some with private terraces- featuring Hotel du Vin trademark monsoon showers and Egyptian Linen- The French style Bistro with a modern edge houses the first Hotel du Vin open style kitchen while the bar is set in the unusual labyrinth of vaulted cellar rooms- There is a library and specialist wine tasting room and a private dining room- The 80 seater Bistro serving European food is open to our residents for Breakfast- Lunch and Dinner throughout the week- For non-residents breakfast is available from Monday to Friday- The hotel also features a cellar bar serving a huge selection of wines and champagne by the glass in addition to cocktails and a vast array of Single Malts and Armagnacs- You can also relax with the paper and your favorite coffee in the library overlooking the bijoux terrace- There are two snugs downstairs in the bar which are ideal for work socials for around 20 people- drinks receptions with canapes- champagne and cocktails or Afternoon Teas- Afternoon Tea is also served from 3pm to 5pm at the hotel- All 41 of the stylish bedrooms and suites feature hand-sprung mattresses- fine Egyptian linen- deep baths- power showers and exclusive Arran Aromatic toiletries- some also offer private gardens- High speed wireless internet access is available in all guest rooms as well as in all public areas.
