From Heraklion Airport (HER): Distance to Movenpick Resort and Thalasso is 11 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. Buses and taxis wait in front of the airport terminal building. Buses 1 and 78 run to Heraklion city centre, stopping by the Archaeological Museum. Journey time is about 20 minutes, and the fare for a single ticket is under 1 EUR. Taxi fares to the city centre should be about 8 EUR, and the fare should be negotiated prior to travelling.
