More information on Tanque Verde Ranch

Want to spend long days in the saddle but don't want to give up resort luxuries? Then Tanque Verde Ranch, which was founded in 1868 and still has some of its original buildings, is for you. This is far and away the most luxurious guest ranch in Tucson. The ranch borders Saguaro National Park and the Coronado National Forest, so there's plenty of room for horseback riding. There are also nature trails and a nature center, and at the end of the day, the spa provides ample opportunities to recover from too many hours in the saddle. Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, with fireplaces and patios in many units. Some casitas are quite large and are among the most luxurious accommodations in the state. The dining room, which overlooks the Rincon Mountains, sets impressive buffets.Tanque Verde Ranch also operates Bellota Ranch, which is located at the end of a rough dirt road, and is geared toward more experienced riders. Facilities: Dining room; lounge; 3 pools (indoor and outdoor); 5 tennis courts; exercise room; small full-service spa; Jacuzzi; saunas; children's programs; concierge; courtesy airport shuttle with 4-night stay; tennis pro shop; massage; babysitting; coin-op laundry; laundry service; dry cleaning; horseback riding; children's playground; hiking and biking programs Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice.
