The hotel du Simplon 2 star with character and charm is situated in the presquile- the peninsula between the rivers Rhone and Saone. It is located near the main train station of Perrache and the greenery of the place Carnot. Although this part of the city is primarily residential- three commercial streets run through it- leading to the place Bellecour- the largest square in the city- Victor Hugo- rue Auguste Comte and rue de la Charite whose galleries and shops are heaven for antiques and art lovers.
