The Tudor Hotel at the United Nations is conveniently located on New York's East side, one block away from the United Nations and within walking distance of some of New York's legendary sites, such as the Empire State Building, Times Square and Grand Central Station. Originally built as the Tudor Hotel in 1931, the hotel is now a recognized historical New York landmark. Due to its close proximity to the United Nations, it has long been home to visiting dignitaries, diplomats and heads of state. In 1997, the hotel became the Crowne Plaza at the United Nations. In 2007 it was proudly named again The Tudor Hotel at the United Nations.
