More information on Island Inn

The historic Island Inn was established in 1895 as a bed and breakfast on the Gulf shores of Sanibel Island. Small white cottages still sit along side the newly renovated lodges. As a Sanibel Island landmark- the new decor enhances the heritage of the Inn. The Gulf view lobby- dining room and library are adorned with collections of treasured shells- photos and memorabilia. The original wooden floors were restored to sit and relax fireside. The decor is reminiscent of the Olde Florida charm with white cott
