A few of the mountains in southwestern Colorado had lakes in front of them, creating a picturesque setting Here's another "road" shot during our drive across southwest USA The Strater Hotel in Durango was very nice and located right on the main street, where we could take its photo; there was no way we were going to fork over the money to stay there, since we found such a cheap deal at Budget Inn! The drive to Durango from northern New Mexico was really beautiful; the mountains became more rugged as we drove into Colorado
