Nestled in the historic village of Irene, centrally located between Johannesburg and Pretoria, the rustic charm of Irene Country Lodge awaits one. All 49 en suite rooms have been gracefully designed in variations of English Country Manor style. It offers rooms that epitomize good taste with stately wooden furniture and rich fabrics, all facing onto the lake, combined with modern day comforts such as 16-hour room service, direct telephone dialing, and Guestlink and DSTV satellite television. The hotel features 16-hour restaurant services plus an unmatched environment, where one finds oneself surrounded by many species of birds and not forgetting the herds of cows.

From Johannesburg International Airport (JNB): Distance to the Irene Country Lodge is 30 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive. Getting there. The easiest way to reach the hotel from the airport is by hire car or taxi. Getting around. A car is advisable for exploring the surrounding area. Driving directions. From the airport, take the R21 towards Pretoria. Take the M31 off ramp onto Nellmapius Drive, Irene. At the stop street, turn left onto Nellmapius Drive. Continue along Nellmapius Drive, under a bridge to a Four Way Stop Street. Go over the Stop Street and carry on towards a traffic circle with Irene Dairy on the left hand side. Continue straight, and the hotel is approximately 50 metres up on the right, after the traffic circle.
