Casa de Azul is a tropical get-away guesthouse tucked in for peace of heart, mind and soul. For those travelers who are tired of the typical hostel-hotel scene, your room in a private home with continental breakfast of sweet breads, fresh fruit and coffee every morning of your stay along with all the in-room pitchers of purified drinking water you want. Located a safe 5 minute walk to the action of the best beach in the Puerto Escondido area and to the action of the Rinconada with its shops, bars, restaurants and mini-super. Two safe, clean, screened, private rooms each with a double bed and a single size bunk-style bed (for up to 3 persons each room) with linens and towels, ceiling fan, screened windows, shared clean bathroom, wi-fi internet access in room and on grounds and hot water in a private, residential home with fenced, gated, secure yard and car/bike parking, with partial ocean view, outside palapa patio area for your relaxing pleasure, and near beaches, restaurants, laundromat, library, transportation and shopping. Both English and Spanish are spoken.Casa de Azul is located minutes walking distance from Carrizalillo beach (best for swimming), from Angelito/Manzanillo beaches (best for boats) and from Bacocho beach (best for walking/running/sunsets). They are close to the intersection of Carretera Costera (Highway 200) and Avenida Oaxaca. Go north on Carretera Costera to Avenida Guelatao. Go west on Avenida Guelatao to Boulevard Benito Juarez. Go south on Boulevard Benito Juarez to Calle Tiburones. Go west (toward the ocean) to Avenida Las Tortugas. Go north just a short way to Casa de Azul, the 2nd house on the right.Puerto Escondido is very close to finishing a Central Bus Terminal where all the different bus lines will be housed.
