The Dana Beach Resort is a large All Inclusive resort centred around a landscaped sea water lagoon and set on a private sandy beach on Egypt's Red Sea coast, 20 minutes from Hurghada city centre. Spread over two floors, the 676 air conditioned guestrooms have light decor with cream walls, light wood furnishings and patterned fabrics and rugs. Room have large windows or balconies with views of the pools, lagoon or the sea, and all include cable TV, direct dial phones, minibars and safes. An All Inclusive rate is offered. Surrounded by landscaped gardens the pool areas are set beside various bridges spanning over the hotel's sea water lagoon, with views to the beach and sea waters. Guests can relax on loungers on the terraces around the two large free form swimming pools where the sun terraces are bedecked with sun loungers and parasols, or take a pedal boat around the lagoon. There are six bars for drinks and snacks, and dining options include a large international buffet and an Italian � la carte restaurant. Kids have their own mini club (ages four to 12 years), adventure playground and children's pool. For the energetic there is a fitness room with gym equipment, and after a workout guests can relax in the spa tub, sauna and steam room, or unwind with a massage. Guests can enjoy access to hard surface tennis courts, two beach volleyball courts and a multi purpose court which can be used for basketball. There is a miniature golf course and guests can take part in Oriental and Latino dance lessons as well as horse riding and camel back tours. There are daily water gymnastics in the pool and water polo lessons and the games room is equipped with table tennis and billiards. The private beach offers opportunities for swimming, diving and water sports. As well as various sports programmes during the day, there is daily evening entertainment including live music, dancing, theme nights and activities such as bingo nights; after which guests can dance the night away at the nightclub. The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day and room service is also available around the clock. Hurghada Airport is 10 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes. Directions

Taxi or private car is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel. Hurghada city centre is a 20 minute drive away from the hotel. The hotel runs a daily shuttle bus service (surcharge) from the resort to downtown Hurghada. A hire car would be useful to reach other towns in the region. The beach is on the doorstep of the hotel.
