Astarea Hotel

Location. The Hotel Astarea is a modern resort hotel set overlooking the picturesque bay of Zupa in the fishing village and tourist resort of Mlini. The historic city of Dubrovnik is 10 kilometres from the hotel. Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is 10 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes. Hotel Features. The Hotel Astarea houses an indoor heated seawater pool and a sauna, and a range of hairdressing services and massage treatments are available on request. In the evening drinks are served in the onsite cocktail bar. During high season the hotel hosts live music every night on the terrace, as well as shows including traditional Dalmation singing groups and national folk dances. At other times of the year, the hotel stages a weekly national gala dinner by candlelight, accompanied by choral singing. The hotel offers three dining options: a large, modern buffet restaurant, a bistro serving grilled specialities, and an Italian pizzeria. Guestrooms. The Hotel Astarea's 216 air conditioned guestrooms are spread across eight floors and feature simple decor with modern furnishings and fitted carpets. All open onto balconies or terraces and include satellite television, direct dial phones, Internet connections (surcharge) and bathrooms with showers. Expert Tip. From the harbour, boat trips run to other bays and coves, including Cavtat, which has a picturesque harbour and a tree lined promenade with pavement cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The journey to Cavtat takes around 15 minutes.

Directions

Getting there. Croatia Airlines operates a shuttle service to the resort of Mlini. The main bus station is in Dubrovnik, 10 kilometres from the hotel. From here, the number 10 bus (in the direction of Cavtat) runs to Mlini. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around 150 KN. All prices are subject to change.
