The first hostel in Cesky Krumlov, Hostel Krumlov House provides more than just the comforts of home. Free wifi, non-smoking environment, quiet common areas,a kitchen filled with spices, tea, coffee, oil, and gorgeous views over the river and rooftops. In our lounge you'll find a well-loved piano (piano tuners welcome!), digeridoo, and guitars, a book exchange, and Czech films with English subtitles. Upon arrival, you'll receive a warm welcome and our map of the town, which clues you in on where to eat, drink and be merry. We're happy to book you an hour on horseback in the woods, a massage with one of the town's best masseuses, or a boat to float in the river. TRY TO STAY A MINIMUM OF TWO NIGHTS Cesky Krumlov needs to be savoured, not sampled. Believe us when we say that even two nights isn�t enough. Krumlov House guests stay an average of 4 nights, and more than 20 percent are repeat customers. Our attic doubles and a private apartment (not riverside) can be converted for up to four people, so after you've made your booking at HW, contact us directly to adjust prices accordingly. Krumlov House is open every day from 9am to 8pm. If you are arriving later than 8pm, or your scheduled arrival time, please call, text, or email us to let us know the change or risk losing your booking.Please note: Hostelworld.com allows us to charge your credit card for your first night�s accommodation if you don't cancel the day before your arrival date. Directions
Taking the bus from Ceske Budejovice is the quickest and easiest way to get to Krumlov. The bus station in Ceske Budejovice is above the large shopping centre, 'Mercury Centrum' across the street from the train station. Check the display inside the bus station for the platform number for buses leaving for Cesky Krumlov.When you arrive in Krumlov, get off at the main station, the last stop. It's a large station with about 20 bus stands. A lot of locals get off at other stops, so it can be confusing. Just stay on until the bus goes no further and the driver gives you a funny look.From the main bus station walk towards the castle tower towards the far end of the station, then left up a path that overlooks the town, and then downhill, crossing a main street, walk about 20 meters. Then take a sharp left onto Rooseveltova street. Follow the hostel signs almost to the end of the road, on your right, Rooseveltova 68. You can't miss our dragon door . These are very complete directions, and it won't take you more than 10 minutes to get to our door from the bus station.
