The O'Callaghan Mont Clare Hotel is a traditional home from home-style hotel located close to Merrion Square and beside the National Art Gallery in the heart of Dublin City. Offering a true slice of Dublin life, the hotel was much frequented by the renowned Irish writer James Joyce during his early writing career. The O'Callaghan Mont Clare's 74 bedrooms were fully refurbished in 2005. All rooms include air conditioning and broadband. It has a car park for residents and charges an overnight fee of 10.00 Euro for 24 hours and 2.50 Euro per hour thereafter.
