Galen C Moses House B and B

This 1874 inn is an extravagant, three-story Italianate home done up in exuberant colors by innkeepers Jim Haught and Larry Keift. The whole of the spacious first floor is open to guests and includes a TV room, lots of loudly ticking clocks, and an appropriately cluttered Victorian double parlor. Note the old friezes and stained glass original to the house. Guest rooms vary in decor and size, but all are quite welcoming. The Victorian Room occupies a corner and gets a lot of afternoon light, though the bathroom is dark; the Suite is ideal for families, with two sleeping rooms and a small kitchen. -- Directions -- Take the Maine State Turnpike Route 95 to Exit 6A Route 295. Continue to Exit 28 Route 1, Brunswick and Bath, where you should exit. Entering Bath, stay right for the last exit before the Bridge marked Historic Bath and proceed to Washington Street set of lights. Turn left and drive 6 blocks to 1009 Washington Street which is on your right. Please park at the front door. If you miss Exit 6A and continue on Route 95, you must then take exit 9.
