In the medieval history of Toledo the most outstanding of the city?s historical roles is undoubtedly the School of Translators that was housed within its walls . Uniting the Cathedral, San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, the city gates and walls and the Alc?zar, visitors catch glimpses of Toledo?s labyrinthine streets and quaint squares.
