For the Inn is found by Guilin General Translation Co.,Ltd( which was set up in 1984),the working staff can speak good English so that you will feel at home without barrier in communication.The Inn is suitable for the reception of the whole family to make tour in Guilin or a mall group of toruists to have a sightseeing here,for they can book tour lines here and bus will pick them up n front of the Inn. the lounge equipped with projector for CNN or BBC from satillite, and mini-library, coffee or tea for tourist stayed and rested here.Information of communicationDistance to railway station is about 1.5 km. ten minutes on foot to reach the Inn; distance to Bus Station is about 1 km., five minutes on foot to reach the Inn; Distance to the Civil Aviation BLD is about 2 km., half an hour on foot to reach the Inn; also you can take 33 route bus to Xichenglu Bus Stop and get off there for the Inn.Free reception by car/bus at station Anyone who has made reservation of room at the Inn, we will take them by car/bus free charge within the city; Find the Inn by yourself From railway station to the Inn: Exit the railway station, upright to the main street, then take the direction to the city center, along the road walking through two cross roads, then another 200 meters,( total travel for ten minutes, not necessary to take taxi) arriving the Inn; You can also take the bus of 11 or 100 route ( 1 Yuan) and get off the bus at Xichenglu Bus Stop, there just at the front of the Mansion where the Inn set up.By bus from the airport to the Inn: take the bus at the airport and get off the bus at the Civil Aviation BLD, then take 23 or 33 route bus( 1 Yuan) and get off the bus Stop at Xichenglu, then arriving at front of the Mansion where the Inn set .A monitoring system for securities of the Inn and guests stayed in here has established. with six digital cameras by a computer to watch the corridors and entrances of the Inn for 24h. A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO Mr. ZHOU JI, THE FOUNDER OF GUILIN GENERAL TRANSLATION CO.,LTD and Guilin Oasis InnZhou Ji, male, born in August of 1951, is a member the Association for Promoting Democracy of China.During the period of the Great Cultural Revolution he insisted on studying English by self-taught, from 1969 to 1971when settled down in a mountainous village of Linchuang County, read through selected Works of Mao Tse-tong, �Capital�, � History of SURCP(Bolshevik) �, �A Tale of Two Cities�, � Anna Karenina� etc. English version ,under the circumstance of laboring all day long from the morning till the night. From 1972 to 1977 worked as a farmhand and beekeeper in a form of Guilin, used the spare time to translate about ten of some scientific articles and essays into Chinese, which published in � Outlook of Agriculture� by IC Co. UK, and a book< Crop Adaptation and Distribution>. Totalled about 200,000 words.From1978 to 1982, studied in the FL Dept. of Guangxi Normal University; from 1982 to1984 worked as an assistant teacher of English in Guilin Educational College; from 1985 to 1986 transferred to the Tourism Bureau of Guilin Prefecture acted as the general manager of Guilin Prefecture International Travel ServiceIn 1984, established Guilin Translation Company (NGO).Achievements: Foreign Language Training Courses : Running FLT courses for more than ten years, trained four thousands trainees and students.Translation Documentation: �A Business Guide to Guilin�, Project of World Bank: A Feasibility Study Report of Controlling Lijiang River of Guilin�, etc important documentations for several millions words for various trades in the society.In 1994 once paid a visit to Switzerland as a translator work for a big enterprise there for half a month and in 2006 flew to Egypt for installation of a glass production line there acted as an interpreter of technical assistance for two months.In 1999, set up Guilin Dongjiang Eco-tourism Co., Ltd, and set up an Oasis Inn in the down town of the city at the same time.Meanwhile, built up a Huangmei Villa in a mountainous area where once the author settled down there during the Cultural Revolution Period, which is a project aimed at advocating eco-environmental protection in the up-stream of Lijiang River. From Airport :By Taxi : 90RMBFrom Railway Station :By Taxi :About RMB 11By bus :No.11, 33, 98, 99, 100.Arrival Station :Xichenglu Stop,Central Zhongshan Road, just in front of Five-continental Mansion, the Oasis Inn is set in the 4th floor. If you take the airport bus, it's 20 Yuan per person, and the terminus of the airport bus is CAAC Mansion where you should get off,(Called : MIN HANG DA SHA, in Chinese). and then you need to take a taxi to our hostel, it will cost you 11 Yuan. Please note that most of the drivers at the airport or the CAAC Mansion may take you to other hostels purposely instead of taking to ours, in this case please call us immediately . If you arrive at Guilin by train, there are two ways to get to our Inn: 1. You may take taxi to our Inn, the fare is about 10Yuan. 2.You may take route bus No. 100,10 or No.11 from train station to our hostel, the bus stop is in the opposite of train station, and the route bus's ticket is 1 Yuan 20 cent per person, and then get off at XICHENGLU Stop(from the train station stop to our hostel is the second stop).Notes: kindly remind you that please do not book any tickets for the scenic spots such the ticket for the Li-rive boat, etc at the airport or any other places because they are sold at a rather high prices.From general bus tation, only 500 meter away, it takes a few minutes to reach our Oasis Inn by foot along directly the main road,need not to take a taxi.We may make arrangements for your tour around Guilin City and may book tickets of various scenic spots for you at a reasonable price.
