This modern and spacious hostel is the perfect oasis in Christchurch�s central city, complete with friendly knowledgable staff and full facilities, including two huge kitchens and lounges. We're close to everything - bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, bus stops, parks and the tram line. We don�t have a bar � we believe that the best night out is on the town amongst the locals (with a good night�s sleep afterwards!) so we�ve hooked you up a drink voucher upon check-in and our friendly staff will point you in the direction of the best local venues.Christchurch offers a varied selection of bars and cafes. Food lovers are equally well catered for with flavours from around the world. For those seeking adrenalin, try paragliding, white water rafting, sky diving and jet boating. We are able to assist you with all landline travel and activity bookings at no extra charge. Lyttelton, Akaroa and Banks Peninsula cruises are available. For unsurpassed views of the city and the Southern Alps, take No. 28 bus from the Lichfield Street Bus Station and head up the Christchurch Gondola. Situated on the highest point of the Port Hills, you can gaze over the extinct volcano that is Lyttelton Harbour or look to the Kaikoura Mountains in the north.YHA New Zealand is a non-profit membership organisation. Non-members pay an additional NZ$3 per person per night fee upon check-in. Memberships can be purchased online or at the hostel.
