The Highlands

My wife and I run a small backpacker lodge in Miri. The Highlands is on the Miri water front right in the heart of town. We will provide you with a host of information on travel in the local area as well as some great travel guides!We are the only place in Miri, catering solely for backpackers! We supply air conditioning, satellite TV, hot showers, clean bathroom facilities, 24hrs coffee and tea, library, internet, a large collection of DVD's, washing machine and dryer, clean sheets, and kitchenette for your full use. Guests will love our nicely decorated dorm rooms. We provide modern and affordable accommodation. You won't regret staying with us if you're passing through Miri on the way to Mulu or Bario.

Directions

We are located on the Miri Waterfront. Most Taxi's know of us and directions can be found at the Visitors information centre near the local bus terminal.We are on the 3rd floor above Wheels Cafe/Bar overlooking the Miri River and waterfront.Please contact us if you need any more details.
