Grasmere House Hotel is set amid 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens, rolling lawns and towering trees which back onto the banks of the Rivers Avon and Nadder only a few minutes walk from the centre of Salisbury. This beautiful building has been carefully converted and extended into a private hotel whilst retaining all the features and atmosphere of a comfortable Victorian home. A favorite venue for those wishing to spend time taking in the delights of Salisbury and surrounding Wiltshire countryside. The picturesque location and gardens of the Grasmere House Hotel make it an ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing stay for holidaymakers and business travelers alike. There is never a shortage of things to do in Salisbury or the wider area of Wiltshire where some of the country's most important heritage sites can be found like Old Sarum and the ancient stone circles of Stonehenge and Avebury. Salisbury has a racecourse with regular meetings and there is a wealth of excellent shops, museums and restaurants around the town. Salisbury Cathedral with its majestic spire can be seen from Grasmere House and is just a short walk away. Wiltshire is also the home of some of the grandest stately homes and gardens - Wilton House, Longleat and Broadlands; or on a smaller scale, Avebury Manor and Mompesson House, which is in the Cathedral Close.

RestaurantThe Conservatory Restaurant also known as "The Bistro on the River" boasts spectacular views over Grasmere's gardens down to the rivers Nadder & Avon, across the water meadows to Salisbury Cathedral. The restaurant offers traditional English food with modern eclectic influences from around the globe with a stamp of individuality from the Head Chef. Local produce is used whenever possible and the menu is ever changing according to the seasons. Daily and Market Day specials feature along with themed evenings that are popular with hotel residents and regular guests.The cocktail bar is adjacent to the restaurant and drinks are also served in the Hotel's lounge. Guests can enjoy a Wiltshire Afternoon Tea in the lounge or just take a few moments to relax after a busy day. The 'Sarisberie' room, situated next to the restaurant opens to a large patio area which is ideal for enjoying drinks on a summers evening.
