A real throwback to Socialist Seventies architecture, the rooms are comfortable, clean and adequate.0308SC This is a high-rise, utilitarian, steel and glass building dating back to the 1970s. Although it might not be considered the most attractive building on the Kiev skyline, it is certainly a landmark and difficult to miss. The hotel is located on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Kiev. It is close to the Palace of Sports and to some of the Embassies, most notably the Bulgarian Embassy. The city centre, Khreshchatyk Street and the Bessarabian Market are a short walk away. St. Sophia's Cathedral and the Old Town are a short drive away, while the Mother Russia monument and Caves Monastery are also a very short car journey away.
