"while the place was clean I noticed lots of little repairs that need to be attended to in an old distinguished house - I would hate to see such a old wonderful house fall into disrepair." source Hostelworld

"The hostel itself is clean, and a fairly nice building in a location close to downtown Minneapolis - if it were run correctly it'd be a nice place." source Hostelworld

"Quiet residential street, the next in art museum and park, there are a lot of numbers of the bus from downtown, the room is widea and cleanness." source Hostelworld

"Good location, very clean, and the computers were in good condition and internet connection worked well." source Hostelworld

"Hostel is a nice building, bathroom and kitchen are very clean and well maintained, dorms are OK." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.1 out of 5

"Wished there had been more literature about what things there are to do in the neighborhood and beyond. At the Chicago downtown hostel, they had a whole wall of fun things and a "staff suggests" section which also included specific transit info on how to get to all the fun stuff." source Hostelworld

"Good location along Nicollet Ave, "eat street", but didn't have maps of the city available (what. ) and were not generally knowledgeable about the area (where to get groceries, which buses to take, etc." source Hostelworld

"Its location is close to downtown, never had a problem to walk the distance, especially in the dark." source Hostelworld

"As a single female traveler I felt uncomfortable in the hostel and not very safe in the area." source Hostelworld

"The location is great. Close to downtown and many good places to eat around." source Hostelworld

  • Value

"Having been built as a house, some of the room configurations are strange, my single opened into the mens' dorm, but no big deal." source Hostelworld

  • Room

"The private single I had booked, turned out to be a store cupboard-like room which could only be accessed through a large male dorm & shared a bathroom with the dorm." source Hostelworld

"The hostel has implemented some major renovations, making the rooms and restrooms very comfortable and pleasant." source Hostelworld

"They should reduce the number of beds in the 3rd floor large men's room - too many beds for just one bathroom." source Hostelworld

"Too much noices from other guest rooms, ventilation systems and cars/people on the streets outside." source Hostelworld

"In a private double room: terrible mattresses, no closets or other storage for clothing." source Hostelworld
