La Locanda di Orsaria is a small and cosy hotel, located in a building dating back to the 16th century, in a secluded and silent calle, adjacent to the Lista di Spagna - the main street of Venice, which is crowded with people and stores of every kind. The hotel offers a wide range of services, from discounts at the nearby gym to guided tours to the Murano island and the Palladio villas, lining the river Brenta. In the lobby there is a computer with Internet access, subject to charge.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): Distance to Locanda di Orsaria hotel is 20 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive. Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR (luggage included). The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. Taxis cost about 40 EUR. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice Mestre train station. At Piazzale Roma, water buses (vaporetto) are available. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available for about 80 EUR, and are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The hotel is on Calle Priuli Dei Cavalletti, which crosses Lista di Spagna, the main street on the way to St Mark's Square. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, a few minutes' walk to the hotel. Driving directions. From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): Follow signs for Venice and the Piazzale Roma Car Terminal. After parking, take a taxi or water bus direct to the hotel.
