-24 hours, Reservations can be cancelled one day prior to arrival (6.00 pm local time) without charges. Cancellations made after will be charged for the first nights stay. For New Years period (DEC29-JAN03): If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 4 days before date of arrival, the first two nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Directions

From Vienna International Airport (VIE): Distance to the Hotel de France is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. An express train (CAT) leaves the airport every 30 minutes for the City Air Terminal. The journey time is 16 minutes, and single tickets cost 9 EUR. The S 7 S Bahn train runs between the airport and central Vienna, stopping at a number of U Bahn (underground) stations. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Buses run to the city centre, Budapest, Bratislava, and the Westbahnhof and S�dbahnhof railway stations. The nearest U Bahn station to the hotel is Schottentor, 50 metres away. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 30 EUR. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Close to the University of Vienna, the Hotel de France is situated one kilometre from Stephansplatz square. Vienna city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by a cheap and efficient public transport system, including buses, trams, and S Bahn and U Bahn trains. Taxis can be hailed on the street, but are quite expensive.
