The Lanzerac Hotel is located on a private working wine estate in the world famous Jonkershoek Valley surrounded by the dramatic Helderberg Mountains.The hotel is situated in the centre of the famous South African wine producing areas of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and Somerset West, and very close to numerous golf courses and the beaches of the Strand, Gordons Bay and Cape Town.The hotels rooms, restaurants, bar, lounge and facilities are all located in the estate 300 year old Manor House and out-buildings, amidst 10 hectares of award-winning landscaped gardens featuring numerous ancient oaks, some over 160 years old. All 48 rooms are individually decorated. Selected rooms feature a private patio overlooking the vineyards or sculpted gardens.
