More information on B&B 5th Sovetskaya 21

Our private residence is located in the historical city centre of St. Petersburg. Only a few minutes away from Nevsky Prospekt, the city's main shopping street. The apartment is situated in the first upper floor of a historic building from 1853. The main entrance to the building is from the courtyard. The whole flat was completely renovated in 2003. While renovating we tried to compromise and to save as many old elements as we could. So we managed to preserve old mouldings in almost every room and we have restored old floors. There is a spacious entrance hall, with heated floor. In the entrance area you also find the internet corner with broadband access. Wireless Lan is available in all rooms. Internet Access is free of charge. Our apartment is an old building and we wanted to leave the old room style - that's why the rooms don't have attached bathrooms. Two big bathrooms are available in the b&b. Both with heated floor. In the middle of the apartment is a big, sunny kitchen which is fully equipped: coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, etc.. You can make use of the kitchen any time you wish. Also, the kitchen has a heated floor.Breakfast is included in the room rate as well as free coffee/tea all day.The TVs in room 1 and 2 receive with the help of the satelites Hotbird and Astra over 70 channels. Room 3 and 4 comes with TV with over 10 Russian TV channels.

Directions

If you arrive by train from Moscow it's a 5-10 minute walk to our b&b. If you take the metro, exit the subway at the station 'Ploshad Vostania' (on the red line 1). If you arrive by ferry at the St. Petersburg port, take a taxi.
