The Heritage House was created in the 19th Century as a farmhouse an since then has seen many eras, from the Gold Rush to Prohibition and then in 1949 restored by Mr. Dennen (a Hollywood set designer) as what we know it as today, a quiet country inn and location of the movie "Same time next year."Following a major renovation, to be completed in late summer, The Heritage House will begin a new era in the life of one of California's oldest hotels. With breathtaking views, the 37 acre estate features private cottages and luxurious guest rooms, signature dining and an intimate spa set among spectacular gardens. The newest member of the GHM's collection of luxury properties, this 45 guest room hotel will be a lifestyle experience that is unique in its intimacy and style, in an environment of comfort where service is exceptional and unrivalled.-Renovations Information-Following a major renovation, to be completed in late summer, The Heritage House will begin a new era in the life of one of California's oldest hotels.
