Starhotels Tourist is located approximately four miles northeast of Milan's city center and 35 miles from Malpensa Airport. This location is also four miles from Duomo Cathedral and La Scala Theater. From Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Distance to Starhotels Tourist is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive. Getting there. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milan's Stazione Centrale (central station). The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. From there, take metro line 3 towards Macciachini and alight at the Zara stop, then take trolleybus number 11 to the Bignami stop. Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses, and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
