A beautiful example of Venetian gothic architecture set on the San Lorenzo Canal, Liassidi Palace has a beautiful facade of mullioned windows framed by decorative stonework. Its classic 15th century architectural features contrast with a creative blend of contemporary styling in the guest rooms.As you enter the courtyard, the scents of jasmine and lemon are overwhelming. Discover the restored Grand Banquet Hall with Murano glass lamps and balconies with upturned pillars that have given the palace the name, and the Zorzi Building with the crooked columns. Rooms have a contrasting modern theme, very chic with large prints of famous 19th and 20th century works of art.Have breakfast overlooking the canal and then visit the nearby Church of St. George of the Greeks and continue on to St. Mark s Square.
