Le Mas de Jouas

Dominating the hilltop overlooking one of the stunning Aveyron valleys, Jouas offers 6 luxuriously appointed bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms within a converted barn, maintaining many of the original rustic features. The accomodation, living and kitchen facilities are completely separate from the main house providing a private and peaceful environment, not unlike many boutique hotels, so you have the freedom to relax in your own space with the warmth and friendliness a bed and breakfast offers.We offer you a warm welcom by joining us for a free drink on the terrace or in private in your room if you prefer. After your journey you can relax in your room or on the terrace make use of the pool; or visit many of the wonderful walks and cycle routes surrounding us in the beautiful countryside; We are ideally situated for most key sites in the Aveyron, and with 5 minutes of some bastide villages.At Jouas you can enjoy gourmet meals prepared with fresh local market and homegrown produce often prepared using traditional South West France recipes and preparation techniques and supplimented by local wines. 25� per person for an aperitif, starter, main course, local cheese, dessert, tea/coffee and a caraf or bottle of regional wine per couple. At Jouas we follow the French tradition and eat ensemble either at the large table on the terrace or in the fabulous dining area.Our guesthouse is suitable for small conferences and special occasions and can also be rented on a self catering basis. We offer long stay and group discouts.We are extremely family friendly and welcome children as have two of our own. We have most baby and children amenities such as cots, bed side barrier, high chairs, toilet training seats, bouncy chair, baby carrier, play gym, bottle warmer, steriliser, moses basket or moses rocker, spare buggy, potties etc. We can provide a welcome pack on request to help with the tight luggage restrictions and will charge based on the contents i.e nappies, milk, formula, baby food, wipes etc etc. We have chickens and ducks and numerous other animals here for the children to join us feeding. We also have a childrens play area with slide and swings. If you want a night off we can offer babysitting depending on availability and booked in advance. Childrens meals (under 10 year old) can be served early and we offer whatever the little ones prefer from fishfinger or sausages and chips to a roast dinner or fresh spag bol! Followed by yoghurt, fruit or ice cream and a drink for 5�. However children are more than welcome to eat with the rest of the party in the evening and older children (10-16) can enjoy a cut down version of the adult meal for 10�.We have many facilities and amenities icluding an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, balcony rooms, free local tennis, cycles for hire, table tennis, childrens playground, boules, airports nearby, restaurant, lounge, countryside location, breakfast, gardens and beautiful Views. There is a fridge to store your own food and drink in for picnics away or in the grounds.

Directions

If travelling by car St Remy is located on the D922 between Villefranche and Figeac en route to Villeneuve d'Aveyron. The Aveyron is approached from the north by the A20 then the D911. From Toulouse in the south, take the A62, then the D926. If arriving at Rodez airport travel west on the D994 and then the D1.
