The Grand Hotel Europa Palace enjoys a wonderful location just above the sea in central Sorrento. The hotel offers a refined style and plain elegance. The entrance is situated in a beautiful Mediterranean garden filled with plants and trees and featuring a stunning large terrace above the sea, just in front of the Gulf of Naples. Inside there is white marble flooring on the ground floor with reception area. The main restaurant faces the sea and features elegant furniture, fireplace, antique frescos, and parquet flooring. Next to the restaurant is the Venus Bar, a spacious room appointed with handcrafted pear wood paintings marble busts and a grand piano. Afternoon tea and evening cocktails can be enjoyed on the terraces, in the library, and reading room, or in the tea room, which has been refurbished with antique furniture, Tapestries, Persian carpets, crystal chandeliers, large comfortable sofas, and armchairs. The other restaurant has a sophisticated ambience with many intimate areas, one of those is a smoking area. The outdoor panoramic pool offers a relaxation area, snack bar, and long sundeck just above the sea. The hotel offers limited parking on site at an additional charge. The hotel offers 69 classically decorated rooms and suites. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms and are well appointed with air-conditioning, satellite TV���s, and phone. Each room also offer a balcony or a terrace and many boast sea views. The suites are located just above the swimming pool.

From Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP): Distance to the Europa Palace Grand Hotel is 60 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive. Getting there. There are buses directly to Sorrento from the airport. Alternatively, the Alibus shuttle leaves every 30 minutes for Piazza Municipio and Naples' central station (Stazione Centrale). Tickets cost 3 EUR. From the train station, the Circumvesuviana train departs for Sorrento. Hydrofoils and ferries sail to Sorrento from Naples Port (at the bottom of Piazza Municipio). Taxis to the hotel cost approximately 160 EUR. Airport transfers can be organised by the hotel for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Sorrento is compact and easily explored on foot. Buses operate throughout the city centre and the surrounding region. Sorrento's train station connects the city to the rest of Italy. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
