The Wilberger family runs one of the most elegant hotels in Tyrol. The century-old Tyrolean parlors have parquet floors, beamed ceilings, and antique accents. The personalized, rustically furnished rooms are elegant yet simple. Some have balconies opening onto mountain vistas, but all are immaculately maintained and have colorfully tiled bathrooms with tub/shower combinations, some with bidets.The hotel restaurant, Alte Stube, is completely covered in old paneling burnished to a rich mellow glow. Dishes include well-prepared beef, veal, and pork, accompanied by fresh vegetables and followed by regional cheeses and home-baked pastries. Meals cost 18€ to 36€ ($23-$47), and reservations are necessary.The hotel's K-Keller is one of the village's social centers. It's open only in winter 9pm to 2:30am. A casino in an adjoining building opens at 3pm every day in winter.
