Welcome to Au Bon Accueil. Our Hostel is in a 200 year old breton stone house on the Brittany, Normandy border.. Free shuttle service from Pontorson, and Mont St Michel. We sleep up to eighteen persons, two double ensuits,two triple ensuite, family suite sleeps up to seven with cot,parents room,childrens room and own private bathroom. We have cycles which our guests can hire for 5 euros per bike ,most guests prefer to cycle to Mont St Michel,the ride takes you along quiet farmers roads, and is very flat, in bad weather i run guests to the Mont,and pick up.Situated just 30 minutes from the ferry port of St.Malo,and 10 minutes (via les Poulders)from the World Heritage Site of Mont St Michel, our B & B and hostel accommodation is ideally located for weekend breaks or a longer vacation. As well as the historic walled city of Saint Malo, within 30 minutes there are the beautiful medieval towns of Dinan and Dol De Bretagne, the ancient capital of Brittany. Across the unique 'Barrage de la Rance' is the holiday resort of Dinard, very British in style with its Edwardian architecture.Visit the fairytale ch�teau at Combourg or, for the children, the zoo and ch�teau at nearby La Bourbonsais or the Cobac Water-park.Along the coast is the small port of Cancale, famous for its oysters, which are harvested in the bay, along with the famous mussels or 'moules de bouchots'From May onwards our barbecue area will be open.For guests there are three places to eat within walking distance,across the road Tric'horn Kafe and five minute walk to village is The Oystercatcher bar and also the Telegraph restaurant.15% discount with Brittany ferries please email for discount code.

Nearest train stations are Pontorson or Dol, on arrival or before please email or telephone us and our shuttle service will pick you up .Try to book your train well in advance as a lot of our guests are last minute cancellations due to trains being full.Please note French telephone boxes do not take coins only cards,which can bought at bar tabacs or post offices.For guests or anyone using Brittany ferries you are welcome to use our 15% discount code, if booking online at the top of the page that asks about cabins etc.you will see a place where it asks are you a property owners member, here you choose yes,enter the code F84781 and choose guest discount and enter your surname,your 15% discount will be instant.From Pontorson take D997 towards St Malo this turns into D797 (route de la baie) we are 7 minutes from Pontorson on the corner of D89 turning for St. Marcan ,inbetween the villages of La Poultiere and St. Broladrewe have blue shutters and opposite the Tric'horn Kafe.Our pick up is free from Pontorson or Dol de Bretagne railway station, please email brittanybnb@free.fr or ring 0299802713 to arrange or 0643187479No 17 bus from St Malo stops outside our front door, ask for Tric'horn Kafe St Marcan.
