The Bastide St Mathieu is ideally positioned in the heart of the Golden Triangle, in the foothills, just southeast of the perfume town of Grasse, about 20 minutes from the international airport of Nice, and 15 minutes from Cannes, perfect for enjoying the calm of the mountains, or the sophistication of the Croisette. A warm welcome awaits one at Bastide St Mathieu from Inge and Arie van Osch. Experienced hoteliers, they have lovingly restored this 18th century country house, to create an atmosphere of total privacy, discreet luxury and personal service. Here, guests are greeted and cared for individually, in a delightful, private country home. Light refreshments and even laundry service are included in ones stay. There are five, distinctive suites, each decorated and furnished individually to the highest standards. Each double room has en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, and an open log fire, satellite TV, a CD player, a direct telephone line, and a direct Internet connection. One will find all those extra luxuries, which will make ones stay very comfortable, like cashmere blankets, Ralph Lauren bathrobes, and ones own drinks tray.
