The Birmingham Great Barr Hotel is located just ten minutes from the centre of Birmingham in the leafy suburb of Great Barr. After a recent 1 million pound refurbishment programme, the Hotel now boasts a fresh, vibrant, contempory building set in beautiful grounds. Access to the Hotel is easy as both the M6 at Junction 7 and M5 at Junction 1 are both only 1 mile away, making the Hotel the ideal gettaway for visiting friends, sampling the extensive nightlife or even treating yourself to a shopping weekend at the Famous Bullring Shopping Centre, hailed as the new European Shopping Capital. Walsall town centre is only a five minute drive with Sutton easily accessible by car for a ten minute drive. The Hotel has 105 guest rooms all en suite with both bath and shower, trouser press, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer, in room movies, playstation games, internet access via the television, and many rooms have the added bonus of views overlooking our extensive peaceful gardens. There is also free car parking for up to 200 cars. The Hotel offers the Oak Bar serving a range of beers and fine wines and also the Palm Restaurant with a tempting menu of British and International cuisine, both are popular with residents and locals alike. The Hotel also houses 10 conference and banqueting suites which cater from 2 to 200. The Hotel has a dedicated Events team to cater for any event from Weddings to Trade Shows, to Conferences and Training Days.
