Location. The Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude is located on Mount Fichtelberg, in the Ore Mountains, Germany, above the health resort of Oberwiesenthal. It is six kilometres from the Czech ski resort of Bozi Dar, and 46 kilometres from the medieval Saxon town of Zwickau. Hotel Features. This traditional mountain hotel offers panoramic views, and includes an indoor pool, outdoor spa tub, sauna, and a health and beauty centre. A wide range of treatments are on offer, including hot stone massages, facials, and ayurvedic therapies. There is also an onsite bar, and secure garage parking (surcharge). Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude's restaurant, with its sunny winter garden, serves hearty local 'schmankerln' dishes, as well as gourmet meals. Teas and pastries are also served in the daytime, and meals can be taken on the terrace in fine weather. Complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each day. Cross country ski trails can be found directly in front of the hotel. Guestrooms. All 31 guestrooms and suites have deep blue carpets, white walls, and stripy red curtains. From Hof Airport (HOQ): Distance to Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude is 130 kilometres, approximately 100 minutes' drive. Getting there. The best way to reach the hotel is by car. Getting around. A rental car would be useful to make the most of the Ore Mountains region. Driving directions. From Hof Airport take the A72 eastwards. Exit at the Stollberg West Junction. Pass Zwonitz, Elterlein, Scheibenberg, and Crottendorf, before arriving in Oberwiesenthal. Drive straight on, and do not enter the town centre, following signs to Fichtelberg. You will find Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude 500 metres up the mountain's approach road on the right hand side.
