More information on La Siesta

The La Siesta is situated right next to Pima Community College, less than two miles from the center of the University of Arizona and a mile from the heart of the growing downtown. It is also in the center of Tucson���s Mineral and Fossil district. It offers southwestern tranquility with an urban twist. The owners strive to create a climate of community where guests become temporary members of an urban family. The motel opens itself to guests, allowing them to participate and share in the richness of a community, while still allowing whatever degree of privacy is preferred. A variety of settings available at the motel are situated to enable individuals or small groups to locate the perfect setting for whatever mood or activity one is pursuing, reading, swimming, tanning etc. The hotel offers non-smoking rooms and facilities, a pool, and parking. Also available to guests and local residents is a lovely saltwater pool, which enhances the boutique lodging experience. Each of the casitas opens to the central courtyard which acts as the meeting place for formal and informal gatherings.
