The Dreadnought is a good location for touring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs in the heart of Scotland. The town itself is famous as the setting for Dr Finlay's Casebook.** Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing renovation work. Distruption is being kept to minimum but guests may be affected by this on going work.**(GW 09/2008) Very traditional hotel. The original building dates from the 17th century. Located in the heart of bustling Callander and within easy reach of the Trossachs National Park, the Dreadnought is close to the shops and amenities of the town yet still offering a calm and peaceful location in which to relax. Located just an hour from the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as just 20 minutes from the historical town of Stirling.
